It was installed in December 2003 at our home in Basingstoke,
We had successful nestings in 2004 see Here and again in 2006 Here and 2007 Here
This year we erected the box and webcam in December 2008,
During March some activity was noted, moss and straw started to appear in the box.

On March 26th we caught a visitor on camera, roosting !!!!

Roosting happened again on April 11th, and has continued every night since.

Daytime has seen plenty of activity moving moss and feathers into the box,
Nicky spotted the Blue Tits mating in the tree next to the box at 10:30 on April 19th,

The first evidence of eggs was on the morning of April 22nd. Two were visible by April 23rd, three by April 24th........

......and four by the 25th April. Also we caught dad feeding mum, and we think eight eggs as of April 29th........
Since the 29th incubation has been in progress, with the mother spending most of her time in the nest, this has continued to date, with the father coming in to feed mother
